KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 24 (Bernama) -- AirAsia X Bhd recorded a higher pre-tax loss of RM605.18 million for the financial year ended Dec 31, 2014, compared with a pre-tax loss of RM212.06 million recorded in 2013.
In a filing to Bursa Malaysia today, AirAsia X attributed the pre-tax loss to higher operating expenses of RM3.32 billion for 2014, up 33.9 per cent year-on-year.
Revenue, however, rose to RM2.94 billion, for the period under review, from RM2.31 billion registered previously.
