AirAsia Won Best Asean And Promotional Campaign Awards

JAKARTA, Aug 8 (Bernama) -- AirAsia won the Best ASEAN Marketing and Promotional Campaign awards at the 30th ASEAN Tourism (ASEANTA) Awards 2017 held here tonight.
The low cost carrier company won the award through its campaign via the slogan 'Think ASEAN, Think Air Asia'.
Indonesian Tourism Minister Arief Yahya presented the award to AirAsia Indonesia chief executive officer, Dendy Kurniawan.
Meanwhile, Indonesia's national carrier, Garuda Indonesia, clinched two awards, the Best ASEAN Airlines Programme and the Best Cultural Preservation Effort.
While Indonesian photographer Agung Pramewara also won the Best ASEAN Tourism Photo through his photo titled 'Tenganan Women'.
For the Best ASEAN Travel Article award, it was won by Singapore via its article,'The South East Asia Diaries'.
Indonesia was selected to host The ASEANTA awards 2017.
